Bormio is our home.
Let's take care of it.

For nearly seventy years we have welcomed guests from all over the world to this mountain. For us, sustainability is not an obligation: it is the respect we owe to a land that has given us everything — and that we want to hand over, untouched, to the generation that comes after us.

Seventy years on this mountain

Every choice that we have made — from the central biomass shared facility with the nearby hotels, to the bike room for cycle tourists, to the catering for the Olympic hospitality areas — it stems from the same principle: doing well to feel well, in this place that we love.

In 2025 we underwent a makeover and became Funivia Bormio Active Hotel, with new suites and a major refurbishment. In 2026, the Stelvio Slope — right in front of us — hosted the Olympic Alpine skiing competitions. Seventy years later, we are still here.

Sustainability in the global spotlight

During the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, we managed the catering for three hospitality areas — two VIP areas and one dedicated to officials. To do this, we developed a system for managing F& B with precise calculation of the ingredients required, to reduce to a minimum the waste of food.

In figures
  • 3 areas for hospitality managed (2 VIP + officials).
  • 100% of the suppliers selected for products from the local area.
