In Bormio, at the foot of the Stelvio ski slope and close to the streets of the town centre

The location of our hotel is one of its real strengths. We are located at Via Funivia 34 in Bormio, right at the foot of the Stelvio ski slope, the venue for the 2026 Olympics: a place that allows you to experience the mountains and the town with ease and comfort.

From the hotel door, it takes just a few minutes to reach the shopping streets, bars and bustling city centre. At the same time, just a few metres away, you will find yourself on the ski slopes, on the trails, or along the roads leading to the great Alpine passes.

How to reach us

By car

From the south (Milan, Bergamo, Brescia)
You can reach Valtellina via the A4 motorway and then continue towards Colico – Sondrio – Tirano – Bormio along the main state roads. This is the most direct and commonly used route to reach the village all year round.
From the north (Switzerland, Engadine, Livigno)
You can reach Valtellina by taking the SS38 Stelvio motorway or via the connections with Switzerland, depending on the season and which mountain passes are open. In this case too, once you enter the valley, the road leads directly to Bormio.

Alpine passes

In summer, Bormio can also be reached via several Alpine passes. Before setting off, always check that the passes are open, as they are no longer passable from November onwards.

Stelvio: altitude 2,758 m. Accessible from the South Tyrol side (Prato Stelvio) and from Switzerland (Santa Maria) with descent towards Bormio.
Gavia: altitude 2,651 m. Accessible from Ponte di Legno with descent towards Santa Caterina Valfurva and then Bormio.
Forcola: altitude 2,315 m. Accessible from St. Moritz or Tirano, descending towards Livigno and then Bormio.

By Train

The nearest railway station is Tirano, connected to the Milan–Sondrio–Tirano line and the famous Bernina Express. From Tirano, Bormio can be easily reached by bus or transfer.
