The ski area of the Alta Valtellina, of which Bormio is a part, is spread over 170 km of slopes, with an altitude difference of 1800 meters, located in a beautiful, natural setting in the heart of the Stelvio National Park. Any type of skiing that you could want is here: Alpine, Snowboard, snowshoe, cross country, telemark, sleddog, and skiing for children.

With skis and boots, or snowshoes over your shoulder, you’ll arrive at the famous slope Stelvio. 220 km of ski slopes of varying difficulty. 70 lifts to easily reach the highest peaks. A single downhill descent from Bormio 3000 to the city of Bormio, with a vertical drop of 1800 meters. The excitement doesn’t end on the slopes of Bormio, with weekly dates for night skiing on the illuminated slopes and even summer skiing for 6 months at the Stelvio Pass.

Bormio has not one but two Snow Parks where freestyle is at home. Up to 500 metres long and 200 metres of altitude with an easy line box, a centre line, a hard line and a difficult rail line.
Evolutions of a foundation that is always ideally kept in perfect condition and very good milling landings.

Walking in “a fur of snow” from Bormio is a pleasure along the snowy trails of the Alta Valtellina!

Routes for all tastes for the most trained or just for the curious. Countless opportunities to breathe fresh air from Santa Caterina (mt 1738) to Dell`Ables Huts (mt 2213), the Rifugio Forni (2178 meters) to the Rifugio Pizzini (2706 mt), or even in Spring you can approach the peaks and glaciers Ortles and Cevedale and again from the Bagni Vecchi (1454 mt) of Bormio to Boscopiano (mt 1527) and the Cancano Dams (mt 1950).

Many kilometres of cross-country tracks with the Alute track in Bormio, a purple track in Valdidentro, the Valtellina track in Valfurva, the track at the Passo Stelvio and the Mulin piste in Livigno.

For the few but also for everyone, in Bormio you can do it! Perfect slopes for this discipline, accompanied by teachers or experts or also alone. A slow and cadenced pace to fully enjoy the snow of the 50km of tracks available in Bormio, for skiing with an antique flavour with the heel truly free. Trips organised by the club of Bormio on the slopes but also off the slopes and then also every year there is the famous event “The Cevedale in Gegnogl,” which is a mountaineering ascent to Monte Cevedale with vintage clothes and telemark skis.

A sleigh pulled by a pack of dogs to try the thrill of becoming “musher,” drivers of the sledge, for a day. An exciting adventure like that of the explorers of old, accompanied by a pack of Alaskan Huskies (2 to 4) and with the help of an instructor, draw trajectories in the fresh snow in the woods, in the magical scenery of the Stelvio National Park, slide with great freedom into a sea of tranquility. Accessible to everyone: children, elderly and disabled people, who may be accommodated in the pocket of the slide, will be accompanied by the instructor. Dog sledging is available all year round at the Husky Village.

A track for all ages! In Winter, our magnificent outdoor garden allows your children to have fun on skis or with the sledge, away from any danger, but for the most well trained and bravest children, there is also the Bormio 2000 ski school within a stone’s throw of “Funivia”, accessible on foot.
