1°STAGE: LIVIGNO-ARNOGA

Half day excursion
Starting from Bikehotel Astoria.

Departure from the Bikehotel Astoria to the Lago di Livigno. After a few km of dirt track through the splendid forest, you come to the start of Valle Alpisella: The 3 km climb gets tougher as you get towards the summit. From here there is a smooth descent towards the beautiful lakes of Cancano. After 2 km on the flat, there is a fairly demanding climb up to Malga Trela, the ideal place for a break. You climb for a few more kms until you reach the Step Vezzola. From here there is a challenging descent which will test all your skills along the dirt tract to Decouville. Only a few more minutes of easy riding where you can enjoy the fabulous views over The Valdidentro and you will have reached the first destination: the Bike Hotel Arnoga

2° STAGE: ARNOGA - SANTA CATERINA

Full day Excursion.
Starting from Bikehotel Li Arnoga.

Departs from the Bikehotel Li Arnoga. After the ride from Decouville towards Cancano Lakes, you cross the majestic dam towards the Braulio Valley. Before reaching Bormio you travel a couple of interesting descents on a dirt road. After less than one km on the road, there is a short single trail up to the famous Bagni Nuovi. The Hotel Funivia is just a few more minutes through the beautiful medieval town of Bormio. Stop for lunch or a coffee break. A little over 300 mt away, the cable car will take you to 3011 metrest where you can admire the beautiful scenery. Here begins the descent: a technically challenging trail of pebbles and rocks leading to the Lakes of Profa. From there, continue on an enjoyable single trail through the entire Sobretta Valley with it’s wonderful mountain pastures. Another single trail is linked to the dirt road which will take you directly to the Bikehotel Hotel Sport.

3°STAGE: SANTA CATERINA-BORMIO



Full day Excursion.
Starting from Bikehotel Hotel Sport.

The shuttle leaves the car park of the Bikehotel Hotel Sport and will take you to the Mountain Shelter Forni (mt 2200) or to the Rifugio Pizzini (2706 mt). The journey along the dirt road by bicycle allows you to view the impressive, steep glacial landscape. From rifugio Pizzini you climb about 400 mt: this time you will need to walk with your bike. But please rest assured, it's worth it. The Step is 3000 metres. From here starts a sensational downhill: the first part is very demanding and technical. After that there is a beautiful single trail until you reach the "Shepherd's Hut." Continue along the road for less than one km to connect with the foothills to get back to Bormio.

4° STAGE: BORMIO – LIVIGNO

Full day Excursion.
Starting from Bikehotel Hotel Funivia.

Departs from our Bikehotel Hotel Funivia. After taking the shuttle to the Umbrailpass (2488 metres), we continue along path up to Forcola at more than 2,600 metres. The views are spectacular. From here starts a exceptional trail with more than 700 m of altitude difference until you reach the Pedenolo Valley that connects with the Cancano Lakes. The final challenging climb takes you to the Passo Trela (2300 meters). You will again be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery along a single trail with a 500 mt drop in altitude, full of winding bends until you reach Val Tort and finally the lago di Livigno.
